Review of the Lecone 4 in 1 Multi-USB Charging Cable
My desk drawer is stuffed with cables, chargers, and adapters. It’s a rat nest that I periodically sift through; untangling wires and discarding the obsolete and unwanted.
During my latest attempt to straighten out this mess, I spent far too much time unsnarling a closely-woven bundle of USB cables.
They weren’t required. Every time I purchase a new device, one of these cheap, plastic-coated leads is thrown in as a bonus. I grabbed a handful and tossed them into the garbage can.
In order to limit my accumulation of these substandard leads, I decided to replace them with a cable reliable enough to use with all my devices. I checked out the offerings at Amazon and chose Lecone’s 4 in 1 USB Charging Cable.
The Lecone charging cable consists of a one-meter, nylon braided lead with a USB C type connector fastened to each end. A rubber lanyard attaches a USB A adapter to one of these USB C connectors. On the far end, the second lanyard secures a micro USB adapter.
This device supports Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 and PD fast charge. Power Delivery (PD) is a specification for handling higher than normal power and allows a range of devices to charge quickly over a USB connection. This lead can handle charging levels of up to 60W (20V/3A).
The Lecone 4 in 1 USB Charging Cable has the ability to transfer data at speeds up to 480Mbps.
This cable is widely compatible. Devices it can be used with include iPad Pro(2018), Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge/S9/S9 Plus/S8/S7/S6/S4/S3, Note 8/Note 9 Plus, HTC, Huawei, Xiaomi, Motorola, Sony, LG V30, V20, G5, Google Pixel XL, Nexus, Kindle, Tablets, Nintendo Switch, and PS4.

This one-meter lead is sufficient for most needs without its length becoming cumbersome.
It can be directly coupled to devices requiring a USB C connection. With the USB A and micro USB adapters in place, this lead can be used to charge most of my devices and, when required, quickly transfer files.
Tests were conducted utilizing a variety of devices. All attempts to transfer data and charge connected devices proved successful.
The wires enclosed within this cable are protected by a sturdy and flexible braided nylon shell.
Connectors and adapters are composed of an aluminum alloy. A rubber coating completely encircles each USB C connector and includes a flexible lanyard which leads to its associated adapter. The rubber coating also serves as stress relief for the fitted connectors.
Sturdy construction ensures this lead will perform effectively for several years, and the included adapters are secured in a manner which will prevent them from becoming misplaced. Lecone’s 4 in 1 USB Charging Cable is highly recommended.
This offering from Lecone is intended to replace the leads provided with many of your devices. In the following poll, I am attempting to determine my reader’s interest in such a product.
