The New Dictionary to Help Communication on Apps
With reading and writing going out the window as new apps and games take over our children's lives, it is no wonder words that make no sense at all have been placed into the dictionary. We also have abbreviated words to make texting quicker. For those of us who have no idea what friends are saying when they text or message you, then here are a few words from the new dictionary to help you communicate and understand your friends on the apps that are used each and every day, including on social media.
Our teens often say something out loud, and we have no idea what they are saying because it is all abbreviated. To understand it all, we have a list that will help you understand what it is that they are saying. You can also use these on your social networks too so that you can also look hip and trendy by using the latest words and abbreviations.
Abbreviated Words for Social Media and Chat Apps
With so many of these words out there, it might be a little difficult to understand at first, but once you have the hang of it, then it will get easier. We will start with the abbreviated words that have been used for a while now and then follow through to the new words and slang that is used to create entire sentences.
Acronyms and an alphabet for the internet will help you surf with ease, and you might leave a conversation with a little more understanding of what was just said, whereas before you had no idea and it made no sense at all. You also have to get with the program because if you want to communicate online and use chat or IM and even your usual social networks, then you do need to know what it all means. Everyone is using it, and it makes your texts short and sweet without having to spend too much time trying to text or send a message.
An instant message is an instant message, and this is why it is quick and easy. The abbreviations and new words will help you form sentences and chat in a hurry so that you can have many conversations at a time, or you can get on with your work or game because it has been made simpler and easier for us all to talk fast and keep up with the kids.
