We have to admit, it's pretty tough watching a 16-year-old buy a Tesla in our adult years.

For anyone over the age of 30, this video might actually be kind of painful to watch, at least psychologically.

If you don’t want to spend any time today looking back on your life with regret, then you probably shouldn’t watch this video of a supposed 16-year-old TikToker buying their first car online … and it’s a Tesla.

But, do they go with the automatic co-pilot feature for an additional $12,000?

So, while TikTok’s Carter Smith of CarterPCs didn’t end up getting the full automated driving package, they did buy the whole thing in cash. No, that’s not a typo: Tesla will debit Smith’s bank account directly for that amount when the shipment is made.

We might have had a few grand to our name at 16 after our first summer job, probably enough for a down payment on a car back then. But, full disclosure: This writer has never had a hold of $66,000 at once, not ever.
