Car Trying To Force-Merge Out of Turn Pays a Price and People Have Opinions

A debate ensues about whether we should let rude drivers in or try to block them out.

You are merging in traffic and trying to be polite by waiting your turn. Suddenly, a driver tries to break the one-car-at-a-time protocol by forcing his car into your lane out of turn. Do you try to block the car out or just let it in ahead of you?

TikTok user @carscrashworld shows an incident in the video below where the rude driver ends up paying a price for his audacity.

"Honestly, just be kind and let people merge," writes @goddess_nyx_369. "Is it really worth all this hassle?

User @on.arrival says, "It’s the fact that the car trying to bully got behind, then went around the dashcam car just to get in front of them again purposely."

"Most satisfying ending ever," writes @tudor87.

"Don’t let no one in if they try to force it," suggests @aalhumiqani. "If he opens the window and clearly asks in a nice way, then we always let them in. That's how it goes!"

"It's a delay of 10 seconds if you let him/her in," advises @speady__. "What's wrong with you people? These 10 seconds are far better than the headache after all this, believe me."

"I wouldn't let him in, either," says @xxerpuponexx. "Nice job."

"Seriously, just be the nicer person," writes @amaaaaandaljn. "Let them in and let them get their karma elsewhere. Too many stubborn people these days."

We post videos such as these as part of our coverage because we hope there are specific behaviors drivers can learn and implement to help make our roads safer for all of us.
