Video: Road Rage Electric Scooter Driver Smashes Car Windshield Then Attempts Escape During Chase

A debate ensues about which participants' actions are more justified.

A man on an electric scooter is seen through a car's dashcam riding on the shoulder of a busy suburban road. The shoulder ends, forcing the scooter rider to merge. The car with the dashcam is directly behind the scooter as the rider attempts to find a place in traffic, which is slowing down because of a red light at an intersection ahead.

This is the moment when stress immediately skyrockets to rage, as the man on the scooter backs up to the dashcam car and smashes its windshield, causing it to crack and shatter. What ensues is an escape on a scooter and a dashcam view through a cracked window from the car attempting to chase it down. Check out the video below.

"If that ever happens to me there's about to be a very noisy speed bump around," proclaims commenter @is_thisagoodname.

"I would have driven on the sidewalk with him," writes @zhygoofy.

"For everyone saying he shouldn't have been in the road," shares @catonar00f, "Some cities have sidewalk bans for these things along with bikes, and skateboards."

"At that point," surmises @senor_jones. "My camera mysteriously lost power and then a small bump."

"The driver put others and himself at risk by chasing," suggests @bobbysemler. "And had he run over the scooter guy, guess who would go to jail."

"The driver was driving way too close to him, which kinda started this, I'm sure," says @robbiemcbride165.

"Nah," writes @f7vamp, "I personally don't let that slide."

Video viewer @fluffyfish_art has a suggestion of her own. "Internet, let's do our thing," she decrees. "Find this man!"
