Video: Dodge Challenger Hellcat Spins Out and Crashes As Police Lights Flash On the Scene

"Too much car and not enough skill," writes a viewer of the video.

A Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye driver takes on more than he can handle when running a red light, making a U-turn and gunning it before the sports car is ready. This causes the car to spin out and crash into the side of the road. And if that isn't bad enough already, a police car is there to witness the entire episode, turn on its flashing red and blue lights and offer a fitting end to the driver's night. The video below captures the moment.

Posted by @lifeofvontaa, the video sets the foundation for a ton of opinions among viewers of the clip.

"Too much car and not enough skill," writes commenter @gearhead03.

"Some people just don't deserve those cars," says @leopvo.

"Most of the time it's young adults, 18 to 25-ish who buy those cars," surmises @stevenm662523. "They've never felt that much horsepower, like Mustangs that are good, but they get a bad rap."

"What was he trying to do?" asks @reinhartherrera. "LOL, he is probably going to tell the officer that his foot slipped off the clutch."

User @reggieanderson2022 provides his own analysis of the situation. "He ran the red light and used the illegal U-turn in the wrong lane, plus cut off a driver, it was wreckless driving, and he failed to stay in the proper lane," he opines.

Reader @melo.manias sums it up like this: "Skills can't be bought," he says.
