A man is seen reportedly acting suspiciously at a gas station after dark. The police, apparently having been called to the scene to investigate, arrive. Unfortunately, when they get there they are in a speeding police car going far too fast, and they crash into a post that blocks automobiles from colliding into the gas pump dispensers. Watch what happens next in the video below.

Posted to TikTok by user @officerdaniels, the clip is the topic of a number of remarks in the comments.

"Dude just gets out of the car and does his job like he didn't just Indy 500 that car!" exclaims commenter @rigrunner_2010.

"Well, of course," says @joepatrick609. "You know he's going to try to play that off as if it didn't happen. He just wasn't counting on the video from above. All of the other videos would have been 'lost' and somehow the damage would have been caused by someone else."

"Yup, like nothing happened," writes @jtsh33han. "While the passenger had full airbag deployment and practically crawled out."

"The suspect was all confused," notes @machomanl5_cgd.

"Good evening, Officer," says @jenkeeeez11. "Do you know how fast you were going?"
