Ski Saudi Arabia? Check Out The Resort of the Future In This Video You've Got To See

Under construction now, the project is called Trojena and it is to be completed in 2026. The plan is for a year-round technology driven resort.

The new mountain ski complex with a vertical village and a nearly two-mile long lake being built in Saudi Arabia will be placed in the futuristic megacity Neom.

Among the features planned are year-round skiing, trail hiking, a wellness resort, an interactive nature reserve and an advanced tech observatory.

TikTok user @uptin shares this video detailing the ambitious endeavor.

If you've ever thought about visiting Saudi Arabia, we're guessing that a ski trip isn't what you had in mind. But it appears that will be an option coming up very soon.

It should be noted that Neom is being built in the Tabuk province, and there has been criticism of the project charging it has been displacing local tribespeople from their ancestral homes.

We will be following the growth of this project and will be updating this space as developments become available.
