A speeding car crashes into a school bus full of kids in New Mexico, causing many to wonder why seatbelts are not required on these vehicles. Thankfully, no one was killed, but several were sent to the hospital.
The incident is recorded in this TikTok video posted by @nbcnews. Note: The accident may be difficult for some to watch.

"Crazy how only the driver gets a seatbelt," remarks a commenter.
"We need the buses to have seatbelts," concurs another.
This one also agrees, saying, "We get a ticket if we don’t have a seatbelt on but it’s OK to put 20 kids in a school bus with no seatbelt."
"When they flew I actually lost it," writes a viewer of the video.
And there are more comments about the seatbelts, including this one: "That’s why y’all should wear your belts."
"This is why we need seatbelts, kids," writes another.
One user takes the advice to heart, writing, "Me wearing the seatbelt now."
